Provides technical expertise with the deployment and maintenance of Information Security solutions.
Provides technical expertise and guidance for security issues while participating in solutions that mitigate or eliminate risk to organization's assets.
Reviews and administers information security requirements for infrastructure systems to determine if they have been designed to comply with established standards.
Assists in the development, testing and operations for firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus, data leakage systems, threat detection and software deployment tools.
Administers and provides maintenance of enterprise security systems (Perimeter, IPS, DLP, AV, Malware, Patching, DDoS) in support of security policies; works with IT staff and business units to assess risk and address security issues.
Participates in forensics and post-mortem investigations of Information Security incidents while preparing report documents illustrating the findings.
Ensures that controls are in place and managed properly to meet legal and regulatory compliance of all Mariner Finance networks and system infrastructures.
Assists in the enforcement of security policies from planning, technology safeguards and remediation for data, software applications, hardware and telecommunications.
Adheres to standards and best practices for all Information Security related responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to datacenters, networks, telephony, systems, databases and applications.
Validates, tests and assists in designing solutions to produce detailed engineering specifications with recommended vendor technologies.
Reviews and recommends the installation, modification or replacement of hardware or software components and any configuration change(s) that affect or risk security posture.
Participates in the development, testing and QA functions to ensure that projects are securely delivered and fulfill expectations.
Builds and maintains relationships with teams and third parties on security development and support issues.
Is a member of the Security Incident Response Team. Provide technical consultancy to ensure problem resolution is achieved in the shortest possible timeframe.
Top Three Skills:
1) Ability to administer and provide operational maintenance and support to enterprise security systems related to Anti Virus, Malware and Patching.
2) Strong Knowledge within Active Directory and Exchange as their environment is a Microsoft shop and they will be navigating within these areas for security purposes.
3) Operational experience within DLP, IDS / IPS and Firewalls.
**CISSP is a must have
**Degree is related Discipline is a must have
CISSP and College Degree are REQUIRED
