San Francisco International Airport is offering a rare career opportunity to join an award winning and progressive organization as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This position is of vital importance to the overall cyber security and safety of the Airport and focuses on cyber security, information technology, and telecommunications. Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the CISO is responsible for supporting each of the Airport’s eight divisions, identify and implement security policies, standards, guidelines, processes, procedures, and operational practices. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable background in working with business stakeholder groups to develop and deliver an organization-wide cyber security agenda. This top candidate will also have a unique blend of people skills and an uncanny ability to move swiftly to resolution in a fast-paced and complex environment. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree along with 10 years of experience within Information Communications Technology that includes 5 years of experience in the design and implementation of complex ICT systems related to information security, and 5 years of experience overseeing information security initiatives. The following certifications are desired ISC2 Certified, CISSP, ISACA Certified, CRISC, and/or current/previous Federal security clearance at the SECRET level or higher. The annual salary for this position is $191,308 plus outstanding benefits including retirement plan.
