The successful candidate will be integrated into our information assurance and engineering teams to ensure that information assurance is an integral part of our processes from start to finish. Reoccurring tasks for this position will include performing automatic and manual audits on systems as updated software and hardware are developed; troubleshooting issues appearing after applying information assurance patches to systems; developing and maintaining information assurance patches; providing security input to system design and code reviews; and creating and updating artifacts documenting the system’s cybersecurity stance to satisfy the Risk Management Framework process used by the Department of Defense. This is a software development position in the Engineering department, not a system/network monitoring position in the IT department.
