Information Security Analyst

As an information security analyst with Webroot, you will support the office of the CISO. You will be dedicated to the implementation and enforcement of Webroot’s cyber security policies, standards, procedures, and internal controls; coordination and management of security awareness training, business continuity and disaster recovery plans; overseeing, evaluating, and supporting information compliance issues. This will include managing and monitoring security standards, internal controls compliance, leading/conducting internal investigations, security and risk assessments, and helping employees understand and comply with applicable information security regulations, policies, and procedures. This is a fast-paced, challenging role where you will partner with other Webroot teams, from stakeholder departments, to remediate potential threats to our infrastructure and employees.  Apply today!


  • Administration, configuration and monitoring of security technologies
  • Daily and weekly reporting of threats/incidents with recommendations for remediation
  • Escalating potential threats/breaches according to internal procedures
  • Assisting Webroot departmental teams and business partners with security and risk management


  • 3+ years of experience detecting and analyzing security events on Windows, Linux and/or Mac OS X platforms
  • 3+ years of experience detecting and analyzing anomalies in network traffic
  • 2+ years of experience using email gateways, SIEMs and AV solutions (Proofpoint, Splunk, Cybereason, etc.)
    • Experience with EDRs are required
  • Excellent customer service skills addressing the needs of internal customers with strong communication and process skills
  • Have the ability to work within a multi-discipline team environment providing operational support to other members of the security team
  • Interested in and has an understanding of threat actor tactics, techniques and procedures
  • Passionate about working in the security field and driven to always be improving
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or 6 years total experience in IT/Security


  • Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent level security certification
  • Knowledge and experience with scripting languages (python) to support job automation and scheduling activities
