The Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for securing existing environments and implementing new solutions/technologies to protect the company Infrastructure, networks, and end points. The successful candidate will use a risk-based approach to security and contribute to furthering the client zero trust security model.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Design, configure and troubleshoot various network and Infrastructure Security devices
2. Identifying, monitoring, and defining the requirements of the overall security of Infrastructure systems
3. Troubleshoots security-related issues: firewalls, IDS/IPS, segmented network Infrastructure, multiple security zones, etc.
4. Strong understanding of common network protocols: UDP/TCP, DNS, SSL, TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SSH, etc.
5. Implement and maintain 802.1x wired and wireless infrastructure
6. Perform vulnerability assessments of various Infrastructure devices across the enterprise
7. Drive the remediation of vulnerabilities by working with cross-functional team members
8. Participate in projects or initiatives where Infrastructure Security Engineer is needed with a focus on ensuring inclusion of information security requirements through the solution lifecycle
9. Design and implement intrusion detection, web filtering, DLP, FIM, and other threat management services across various environments and networks
10. Maintains security footprint and monitors logs or firewalls, virtual private networks, and email security solution
11. Stay abreast of the latest technologies and processes to improve the overall security of Infrastructure and networking systems
12. Use industry-standard analysis criteria to test the security level of endpoints and equipment across all environments
13. Developing tracking documents to capture vulnerabilities and resolutions
14. Inform management and InfoSec team of newly discovered security incidents in a timely manner

- College coursework or equivalent experience desired
- CCNP preferred MCSA Preferred, CISSP preferred
- Must have 5 – 6 years’ experience working with security solutions across networking and Infrastructure environments

Technical & Other Skills:
1. Demonstrates proactivity in finding and remediating vulnerabilities
2. Demonstrated proficiency with routing, switching and subnetting
3. Windows Server patch and remediation experience required
4. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy security best practices
5. Experience with Fortinet products is preferred
6. Experience with UTM security appliances is required
7. Experience with CIS benchmark standards is preferred
8. Experience with data center and office migrations is preferred
9. Experience securing and supporting a large footprint of individual small retail networks is preferred
10. Demonstrated proficiency with VLAN segmentation and VLAN tagging is required
11. Proficient with Cisco ASA and SSL VPN
12. Practical Knowledge of Information Security standards and policies like ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and others
13. Experience with PCI/DSS audits and remediation is preferred
14. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
15. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with peers and coworkers
16. Accept responsibility and personal accountability
17. Must be team-oriented, placing a priority on the successful completion of the team and company goals
18. Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
19. Must be highly motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision
20. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
21. F5 and Netscaler load balancer experience is preferred
22. Must have strong time management, multi-tasking, organization, and administrative skills and must be highly proficient with Visio, Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
23. Ability to learn and implement third-party applications and complex solutions

Work hours are 9:30 to 3:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 
Change at Night  10:30pm-12am

8:30am to 5:30pm
