The Security Analyst ensures compliance with all security policies and process and best practices in conjunction with enterprise security architectures as designed by the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This individual acts as a key resource for the Security Operations Team. The Security Analyst will work with others in the Organization to understand security needs and develop and implement security solutions.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or a related technical field; or Associates Degree in Computer Sciences or related field plus two years of relevant work experience.
Minimum Experience Required: Three years of experience working in an IT environment working with systems, databases, and networks. Demonstrated knowledge of industry regulations (Heath Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH)/Heath Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX)).
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing:
Minimum Required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) awarded by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) certification or Security Essentials (GSEC) awarded by SysAdmin, Audit, Network and Security Institute (SANS) within two years of hire.
Preferred/Optional: GSEC awarded by the SANS Institute, SSCP from (ISC), CISSP awarded by the International Information System Security Certification Consortium certification.
