CISSP Instructor/Writer

Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA


Seeking a highly motivated Certified Information Systems Security (CISSP) Instructor to support the Cyber School at Fort Eisenhower.

The Army established the Cyber School under the CCoE to train the new Cyber Branch/Career Field 17, which includes courses for MOS 17A, 170A, and 17C.The Cyber Branch primarily provides trained personnel to Army Cyber Command's Cyber Mission Force (CMF) teams.The position will provide instructional support to the Cyber Basic and Common Technical Core.

Required Skills/Experience:

•Graduated and have current (within last five years), Foundation Instructor Facilitator's Course (FIFC), or Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (CFD-IC); Faculty Development Program-1 (FDP-1) (as required); and Installation Staff Contractor Training Course (ISCTC) or equivalent (i.e., Cadre Training Course (CTC) or Support Cadre Training Course (SCTC)).

•Possess pedagogical/andragogical content knowledge, defined as the ability to recognize student mistakes, why they may have made those mistakes, and how to get students back on track from where they are.

•Possess advanced presentation speaking skills (e.g. tailoring content and delivery for different audiences presenting confidently to large or small groups, and using more creative approaches to presenting).

•(4) years of experience teaching technical content in a formal classroom setting. Experience is defined as experience in teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military institution, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s); supervising or administering a training program; development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results.

•Must Possess International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² CISSP certification


A minimum of four (4) years of experience within the preceding six (6) years' experience instructing IA

•Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

•Must be a U.S. Citizen
