Job DescriptionABSG is seeking a Cyber Principal Investigator to join our Department of Homeland Security program team and take an active role in thought leadership, customer engagement, task management, and execution of cybersecurity and risk-based studies and tasks to enhance the cybersecurity posture of some of the nation's most critical assets. Responsibilities: Independently leading multiple studies and research projects related to cybersecurity practices and vulnerabilities, historical incidents, and incident response efforts across the industry, as well as analyzing best practices through both domestic and international cybersecurity frameworks. Working in a team environment, coordinating study activities and findings with colleagues, and collaborating with team members to identify cybersecurity challenges and opportunities to improve federal policies and processes. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks and technical analysis assignments. Performing research and analysis, developing conclusions and recommendations, writing reports, and assisting with client presentations. Identifying opportunities for enhancing service offerings within a client organization or business area and participating in marketing activities, including task development, conference presentations, and technical whitepapers. Gather, analyze, translate, and compose technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel across a diverse group of private sector stakeholders. Develop a wide range of high-quality executive-level deliverables, including briefings/presentations, reports, and ad hoc analyses. Review and revise tailored technical materials and programmatic documentation and provide actionable recommendations. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 7-9 years of related work experience Experience with and strong understanding of: National Critical Functions and Critical Infrastructure Sectors Operational Cyber in non-traditional domains Domestic & International Operational Technology (OT) & Information Technology (IT) Industry Standards & Practices Challenges associated with cybersecurity policy and development in immature cybersecurity environments Authoring products in accordance with various federal writing style guidelines Ability to work in a dynamic team environment and demonstrate superb written/verbal communication methods. Preferred experience leading complex analyses.
